What is Kinesiology?

What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a natural & gentle therapy which aims at tapping into your body intelligence to uncover the cause or stress behind your issue. And using body’s own innate healing abilities to resolve or defuse the issue. Your body is like a computer that holds information about everything happened in your life. By using manual muscle test & monitoring, we are able to access this wealth of information to help you understand what is going on and identify the most appropriate therapy to encourage body's own innate healing process. And it is completely natural!
In Kinesiology, we recognise your health is not just your body but rather a reflection of your body, mind and spirit. Everything happens to you either physically, mentally or emotionally can have a huge influence on your health and your life. That is the reason we look at your issues in four major areas - structural, mental, emotional and biochemical - to get a full picture of what is going on. Hence, we can identify the best approach to resolve your issue.

Where does Kinesiology come from?

Kinesiology originated from Applied Kinesiology which was founded by an American Chiropractor, George Goodheart, DC in the 60’s. In the early 1970s, another Chiropractor, John Thie, DC, started to teach “Touch for Health” as a simplify form of Applied Kinesiology to lay people. Since then thousands of people have learnt “Touch for Health” and some have continuously applied it as a profession of its own or as part of a natural therapy. Since then, many different kind of
professional Kinesiology treatments such as Kinergetics, Hyperton-X, Neural Organization Technique, PKP, etc were developed.
